It is important to mention that “storm chasers” are companies that are not local to the area and they swarm a city after a large hail storm to collect some of the business. There is nothing wrong with picking a non-local company. We caution you to ask them how they handle call-backs and warranty. Many storm chasers do not come back to fix something or honor a warranty down the road. So, please make sure you ask what their policy is and having it in writing will protect you.

After price, craftsmanship is arguably the second most important factor in picking a contractor. Let me stress again that your home is a big investment. Codes need to be followed, the correct application of trade materials is essential to quality work and to put it simply – it needs to look good and last.
